Chewy – Courtesy Post

No no, do not adjust your computer or your glasses, I am a Chihuahua and well an honorary Beagle.  My name is Chewy.  I am approximately 10 years old , already neutered.  I am  extremely sweet and well behaved.

Now you might even ask yourself why is he on the Bean’s Beagles website?  Well, although I do not like to talk about it,  for the sake of getting adopted I will share my story.  I was living back east and somehow ended up in Southern California.  Then on a cold night, I was tossed out of a car into the driveway of Bean’s Beagles Dog Rescue.  I was so scared and cold I ran under one of the cars and cried for help.

One of the nicest Bean’s Beagles Dog Rescue ladies took me in and cared for me.  I have a micro-chip but the only thing it shows is that I came from a kennel back east.  Whatever that means.  Obviously my owner did not love me enough to even put proper I D on me.

Anyways, I am quiet, very well behaved, I sit for my meals and for cookies and I get along very well with other dogs my size or bigger.

I enjoy walks and cuddle time.  I love to be held and told how beautiful and sweet I am.

I would love to meet you and sit on your lap while you hear how wonderful I am.

Please contact Bean’s Beagles Dog Rescue today and ask about me.  I’ll be waiting.

Nutmeg – Adopted !

Am I the cutest thing or what?  My name is Nutmeg or as my foster mommy affectionately calls me “Meggie”.

I am a 1 1/2 year old spayed Beagle  mix and boy do I love to play.

I am housebroken, love other dogs but not sure how I feel about cats.  As far as children, I think i would do best in a home with children over the age of five.

I will need to go to obedience school so I can be even a sweeter girl than i already am.  I am very affectionate and love to give kisses.

Remember, I am still a baby, so lots of patience and love will be needed to keep me happy and love you forever.

Please contact Bean’s Beagles Dog Rescue today to learn more about me.  I can’t wait to meet you !

Sunshine

Boy oh boy, is this little Beagle a cutie !  Her name is Sunshine.  She will definintely bring rays of happiness  into the life of the lucky person who adopts her.

This little cutie batootie is between 10-11 years old.  Sunshine is house-broken, extremely well behaved and quiet.  She loves the company of other dogs; however, she does not favor cats.

We don’t know how she feels about children.

Sunshine rides very well in cars and loves to go for walks enjoying all the sights and sniffs along the way.

If you need to go out and run some errands or need to go somewhere dogs are not allowed,  Sunshine will quietly keep watch and wait for you to come home.

Coming home to her will be a pleasure as she will wag her tail and show you how happy she is you are home.

She is a little hearing impaired therefore she will not hear any excuses as to why she can’t go on road trips with you or take daily walks. Her hearing impariness does not stop her from being a happy little girl.

While we are still getting to know Sunshine a little more,  she will be going to the vet soon for a  complete check up. You are welcomed to contact Bean’s Beagles Dog Rescue if you have any questions and to receive an adoption application for Sunshine.

Sunshine hopes you will call to make arrangements to meet her, fall in love and take her home !   Ahrrrroooooo !!!

If you search ‘happy go lucky” you will probably find Charlie, our newest addtion to the Bean’s Beagle Adoptable Dogs.

Charlie is an eight (8) year old neutered male whose owner gave him up because they are moving.

Charlie is housebroken, very sweet, very well-behaved and definitely loves his walks.  In fact he is hoping someone will put him on a permanent walking program because he does need to lose a little weight 4-5 pounds.  He walks very well on a leash.

While Charlie enjoys the company of other dogs big and small, he does not favor cats at all.

According to his previous owner, he is good with children but no toddlers as he has not been around them enough to give his opinion as to whether he likes them or not.

Charlie is an excellent watchdog and will alert you if someone comes to the door or rings your doorbell.  He is not; however, an accessive barker.

Driving somewhere?  Charlie is an excellent co-pilot as he loves car rides and behaves extremely well in a car.  He will either lay down during the ride or sit up and watch everything and everyone you pass along the way.

If you are looking for the cutest and most well-behaved Beagle, please contact Bean’s Beagles Dog Rescue to meet Charming Charlie!

Charlie is so excited about being on our website , he can’t wait to meet his new forever family.

Blue

If you are looking for someone who absolutely loves to go for walks, hikes & trail walks, Blue is your boy.  Blue is a 6-7 year old active neutered male who has been with our rescue for over a year.

Blue was dropped off at a local shelter with his buddy when their owner passed away and no one could take either or both dogs.    Blue’s friend has since been adopted and now Blue is waiting for a home of his own.

Blue is well-behaved, housebroken, walks very well on a leash and will be finishing up obedience school very soon.   He is a very good watch dog but not an excessive barker.

Blue loves to go for car rides and rides very well in a car. Fast food drive-thru(s) are on his list of favorite places to go.

While he does get along with most dogs, he would do well with a submissive dog or even better, he would love being your one and only dog.   Blue figures by being your one and only, you will spend less on dog food, dog supplies including chew sticks which he loves and think of the money you will save on vet bills!  Blue is so considerate.

Blue was recently  diagnosed with a heart mur-mur.   He is on heart medications which he will have to take for the rest of his life; however, his vet told us Blue can still resume normal daily activity at this time.

Blue is a very sweet boy who deserves a home of his own.  Please contact us at (714) 397-0705 to learn more about this fabulous and handsome boy.

Sam – Adoption Pending

Who is adorable, playful and just as happy as can be?  That would be our newest rescue “Sam”.  Don’t let his premature gray fur fool you into thinking he may be a couch potato, nope not at all.  He loves his foster pals and is always ready, anytime for a fun game of “you chase me and I chase you” with his foster buddies.  His tail is always wagging and he is just so happy to be rescued.  Sam loves to be petted and will let you know to keep the loving pets coming with a gentle nudge of his head to your hand.

Sam is a neutered 9-10 year old Beagle who came to us from a shelter.  Sam did have a chip, owners were contacted, but alas they decided not to come and get this beautiful boy.

Sam is housebroken, well behaved and will even patiently sit for his meals and after meal cookies.

Sam came to us with a  large mass located on the lower end of his belly and a mouth full of bad teeth; however, he has since had the mass removed and has had a dental.

Sam is a happy boy and is now ready for his new forever home.
